Diptychs shape this Mark Study Journal in both concept and style. Diptychs in the early church were used for a few purposes, but artistically they were often used to portray scenes from Jesus’ life, displayed within the church. The design of this book aims to communicate themes of contrast and paradox in the Gospel of Mark .

INSPIRE REFLECTION

Concept and art direction for a series on 1 Peter at Fellowship Fayetteville. Playing with organic elements and imagery of growth, refracted light, soil, and other natural elements to portray themes found in the series.

ORGANIC MOVEMENT

Illustrative visual identity for a teaching series centered around the personal accounts of the Christmas story. Departing from typical Christmas visuals, this project aimed to personify and give color to a storyline many people in the audience have heard a thousand times. Inspired by historical religious paintings and mosaics, which have been telling this same story for hundreds of years.
